Tips For Using Your Acratech Long Lens Head

The Acratech long lens is one of the most well known, highly recommended and well made compact cameras around.acratech long lens head They have been used for years by professional photographers and casual camera users alike and are a favourite with professionals because they give you so many great features at such an affordable price. For example, what's great about these cameras is that you can take multiple lenses with them. How? By using the lens adaptor included in the box when you buy your camera. Here's how.

First, to get it out of the box, you need to get the lens adaptor to fit all the lenses included.acratech long lens head There are plenty of these available - you just have to be aware that some adaptors will only accept certain lenses. For example, the Acratech lens adaptor will only accept the Minoxidil lens, so if you use any other lens, you're going to have to get another adaptor. Other adaptors will accept a variety of different lenses. So check out what adaptors are included when you buy yours. It's important that you use the right ones, or else you won't be able to use them on future cameras.

To use your new Long Lens Head, you first have to install the lens adaptor on the side of your camera. Most of these things snap easily into place, but if yours doesn't, just slide it under the lens. Make sure it is mounted securely though. If not, replace it!

Next, now you're ready to take a picture. You'll need to focus the lens as best you can, although I find that the manual settings are often very useful. I simply move the long lens head up and down to focus the lens properly. If you find that you need to focus manually, try focusing either the top or bottom (usually for macro types) of the image. This will give you a good idea of where your focus point is.

Now, like I said, this is a fairly basic tip, but one that is very useful. Remember that you need to move the camera very slightly towards the subject to get the best shot. Don't stand so close that you don't see anything, but make sure you're at least 5 feet from the subject, as this will prevent from blurring the subject. You don't want the background to be completely blocked out by your shot.

As far as the lenses are concerned, these are relatively cheap and easy to find. Acratech makes a number of different long lens head adaptors. Look in your nearest electronic store or camera department. You should be able to find a wide range of different options for your lenses as well.
