With the built in arca-swiss release plate this collar is much more convenient than the standard Nikon collar. The build quality seems to be great also.

The collar works pretty well with my Sony 70-300mm G OSS lens.

This is a fine, inexpensive way to deal with vertical shots from cameras with cables coming out the side. I use it with a Sony a6000 with cable release for portrait orientation shots. It grips my Really Right Stuff L plate just fine.

For the low price, it will work just as good as the more expensive adapters. It gives plenty of clearance for portrait oriented shots when using an L bracket on a tripod. All in all, it is worth the wait to receive it.

This is the only one like it on the market and it's completely compatible with RRS, Arca, Wimberly, etc.So, if you need to extend the bracket or tripod/monopod height - say, for cable clearance - it is a good choice. The only downside is that it ships from China and isn't in stock anywhere in the USA that I could find. iShoot has just recently been added to Amazon and they have some unique products. The quality is good and the prices are very reasonable.

I received this item today and was skeptical when I ordered it, but I'm glad I did. It has a solid Construction made of metal and the base is ARCA Swiss compatible. It fits my Canon 70-200 F2.8 IS II perfectly. I would recommend it to anyone who needs a replacement.

I purchased this tripod mount support for my new 70-200 f4 IS II and am very pleased. It is a sturdy metal design that is easy to use. I like that it has a build in quick release plate. When using the collar with the lens being used with a 1.4 x teleconverter I install the collar reversed to allow better balance.The Ishoot seems like a very good buy.
