Tripod Mount Rings

  • I purchased this tripod mount support for my new 70-200 f4 IS II and am very pleased. It is a sturdy metal design that is easy to use. I like that it has a build in quick release plate. When using the collar with the lens being used with a 1.4 x teleconverter I install the collar reversed to allow better balance. The Ishoot seems like a very good buy.

  • Really well made. I purchased this to hold a telephoto "legacy lens" adapted to an Olympus micro four thirds camera (either M5ii or M10ii), because I wanted to reduce the stress on the camera mount (That is what these collars are for, right?).Anyway, my lens diameter is 62mm and this collar is about 65mm, so adding some thick tape to the inside diameter fixed things just right. I can't imagine how this collar would be improved in material, workmanship, or durability.

  • What's not to like? This replaces the foot that comes with the Fujinon 50-140 f2.8 OIS lens and while making things smaller and more compact, simultaneously adds an Arca-swiss style dovetail tripod mount. This makes it smaller, lighter and more compact and uses the quick thumb screw attachment method of the factory part. Don't think twice about this. Just get it.
  • Attaches to my ARCA mount tripod. Got this because I just think it is a better mount that what came with the Fuji lens. I really do not understand why Fuji didn't use an ARCA mount to begin with but it is what it is. This is a good upgrade for not much money.
  • Very happy with this tripod mount ring. The Arca-type foot works perfectly with my tripod heads. The mechanism for securing the lens is solid and positive. Rotating the lens inside the ring works smoothly with the tension released. Overall very sturdy and well made.
  • Great value relative to the ridiculously over priced Nikon version of this item, seems to have excellent build quality and fits the lens very snugly. It has a smooth fabric material on the inside that means no marks and grips very well. The delivery time was quicker than advertised and arrived well packaged, all in all a great find for my 70-200 F4.
  • Very nicely made. Fits perfectly on my Nikon 70-200mm AF-S F/4 lens. I will leave this on the lens as it holds it off the table when I set the camera down down. Nice and balanced. I will not be using it as a tripod quick release, will be adding my own plate to the bottom as needed. It looks as good as the Nikon version at a reasonable price.
