it as a bit of wiggle room once closed and locked and it would be nice if it was less so but otherwise it is a solidly build product that I trust to hold my lens and my camera.

Very happy with this tripod mount ring. The Arca-type foot works perfectly with my tripod heads. The mechanism for securing the lens is solid and positive. Rotating the lens inside the ring works smoothly with the tension released. Overall very sturdy and well made.

Great quality

This sturdy collar fits the lens well, and has a 1/4" thread to match my Manfrotto QR2 quick release plate (sold separately elsewhere). It also has an alignment hole adjacent to the threads, This is seen in the seller's photo of the bottom of the plate, to the right of the arrow. The hole matches up with a similar hole in the QR2. The QR2 kit includes a plastic antirotation pin that goes into both holes, preventing the lens mount from rotating with respect to the QR2 plate. Manfrotto says this pin is for camcorders, but it also works with the IShoot B(W).

I received this item today and was skeptical when I ordered it, but I'm glad I did. It has a solid Construction made of metal and the base is ARCA Swiss compatible. It fits my Canon 70-200 F2.8 IS II perfectly. I would recommend it to anyone who needs a replacement.

I got this for its built-in ARCA-compatible quick release plate. It does the job beautifully.Well made, fits perfectly and functions just as it should. (it's also sized properly to fit in Really Right Stuff lever-type clamps.)

I needed to be able to securely attach a camera with a heavy telephoto lens to a telescope that tracked the stars. Because the camera is often hanging nearly upside down or sideways because of how the telescope tracks the stars, I needed something very secure. This lens collar does the job perfectly! Using a 3/8 to 1/4 adapter I was able to use TWO screws to connect the collar to a dovetail plate, making a very solid connection. I used this setup to take the attached photo of the Orion Nebula--and never had to worry that my camera would fall.

This product works perfectly and solves the problem of mounting to an Arca-compatible ballhead. I suspect that Fujifilm will eventually include this product with all 100-400mm lenses.

The bracket is well made and works just as it should on my XF 100-400m lens. Delivery was a bit slow as it came from China.

Easier to handhold this than the original that comes attached to lens from Fuji. Much easier. Also Arca-Swiss is a lot easier to use. If you have enough money to pay for the 100-400mm, you can afford this. You'll be glad you did!

What is the inside diameter?

The product heading says for canon ef 100mm f/2.8l is usm macro, but then states can’t be used with canon macro lens ef 100mm f/2.8 usm?
