Got the new tripod ring!First, it is as strong as ever and feels good. Very good with my Sigma 135 f1.8 DG. For some other usage details, I will add to this comment after using it for a while.

Five Stars! It has a safety feature to allow you to rotate your lens without the clasp coming undone. It has a felt/velvet-like liner that has kept my lens barrel from scratches. And also the mark design is better than my other ring. At least it is perfect for me!

Well made from metal with padded lining. Good fit and bargain price.

The tripod mount is perfect for tamron 100-400mm, has perfect fit on the lens and is very stable.I can't figure how the original (tamron) tripod mount can be better.It's all-metal btw, really great, I believe it will be very durable.
